Pat’s Run is the signature fundraising event for the Pat Tillman Foundation. In late April for the past 11 years, the event has been held to commemorate the day that Pat lost his life in Afghanistan.

Symbolic of the #42 he wore as an ASU Sun Devil, Pat’s Run is 4.2 miles long, ending on the 42-yard line of Frank Kush Field inside Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, AZ. Read more

The recent class will receive over $1.4 million in scholarships to pursue their higher education dreams. They will also continue to service in their fields, including medicine, law, business, government, education, technology and the arts. Read more

Marching on after war with Pat Tillman Foundation

It’s not uncommon for veterans to feel lost when it comes to their sense of purpose once returning home from serving tours in areas including Iraq and Afghanistan. Many are left on their own not knowing what to do next in the workforce.

Last year’s Pat Tillman Foundation Leadership Summit was held in Chicago at the downtown campus of Roosevelt University. In attendance included Ivy League MBAs, future doctors and lawyers, as well as urban planners and social workers. They emphasized the idea that veterans have more career options available to them than ones in a military-like environment. Read more

Four New University Partners announced for Pat Tillman Foundation

For the 2014-2015 academic year, the Pat Tillman Foundation welcomes the addition of four new University Partners in support of the Tillman Military Scholars program. Georgetown University, Indiana University, The Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee were selected as Tillman Military Scholar University Partners, bringing the total to 15 partner institutions nationwide.


Each partnered university has demonstrated effective leadership and support services for the student veterans, active servicemembers and their families on campus. Read more
