Marching on after war with Pat Tillman Foundation

It’s not uncommon for veterans to feel lost when it comes to their sense of purpose once returning home from serving tours in areas including Iraq and Afghanistan. Many are left on their own not knowing what to do next in the workforce.

Last year’s Pat Tillman Foundation Leadership Summit was held in Chicago at the downtown campus of Roosevelt University. In attendance included Ivy League MBAs, future doctors and lawyers, as well as urban planners and social workers. They emphasized the idea that veterans have more career options available to them than ones in a military-like environment. Read more

Four New University Partners announced for Pat Tillman Foundation

For the 2014-2015 academic year, the Pat Tillman Foundation welcomes the addition of four new University Partners in support of the Tillman Military Scholars program. Georgetown University, Indiana University, The Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee were selected as Tillman Military Scholar University Partners, bringing the total to 15 partner institutions nationwide.
