This examination review book provides a personalized study plan for candidates preparing for the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Entry-Level Examination. It presents an exhaustive review of the test matrix, including over 1000 questions and analyses based on the July 2009 NBRC Entry-Level Examination Matrix. Full-length, pre- and post-tests which simulate the 2009 NBRC Entry Level Registry Exam Matrix are also provided. Analyses are referenced to the AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines. A chapter on test-taking strategies is designed to build self-confidence and provide practical tips on test taking such as when and how to guess and how to think "the NBRC way." Each question is coded to the AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines and includes detailed analysis about the question. Detailed scoring forms are available throughout the book to assist candidates in evaluating strengths and weaknesses and for assessing progress while working through the book. A timetable is also included to help candidates organize their time and activities. Practice software that mimics the exam is also included.
