The Resource Center for AMERICAN GOVERNMENT: HISTORICAL, POPULAR, AND GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES, TEXAS EDITION, offers a variety of rich online learning resources designed to enhance the student experience. These resources include podcasts, quizzes, simulations, animated learning modules, Internet activities, self-assessments, videos, and links to Election 2008 information and analysis. All resources are correlated with key chapter learning concepts, and users can browse or search for content in a variety of ways. More than a collection of ancillary learning materials, however, the Resource Center also features important content and community tools that extend the education experience, including tools for instructors to author their own content, content-sharing features, blogs (online journals) available for each registered user, and a built-in messaging center for class communications. There are separate options available for the delivery of an e-book.
